New Games Updates - Realm 2 Remastered & Realm 3!
Hey everyone!
Today, we have released the remastered Realm 2 and the first update of Realm 3 on Itch.
Realm 3 is a separate game that needs to be downloaded separately. To continue your Realm 2 save into Realm 3, be sure to play to the very end, export it, and then select Import Save when loading up Realm 3.
We have also updated the pricing. Currently, purchasing the game here is slightly cheaper than doing so on Steam. Once further updates of Realm 3 are released, we will likely need to amend the pricing.
Realm 3 offers numerous upgrades compared to Realm 1 & 2. One of these is sound effects throughout the game and within the animated scenes. We'd love to hear what you think of these enhancements!

I do wonder how this is meant to work. Im used to having 2 different Itch project's/game sites that you have to buy if you wanna play the next version of a game. Since this isnt the case here I wonder if Im supposed to buy the game agin to get the access code for the Realm 3 File (can you even buy the same game twice?) or if I missed something. What I would also love to know is if the remastered version has any actual noticeable benefit from the version before that makes it "worth" to redownload the Realm 1 and 2 version and replay it before moving on to the Realm 3 updates.

Heya. Thanks for the question! You've purchased it previously - is it now showing as an issue for you to download the current versions?
Regarding the remastered Realm 2, the last 35% or so remains unchanged. We overhauled the quality part of the way through development, and after completing Realm 2, we brought the first 65% up to the quality of the end of the Realm. There is a noticeable change with regard to the image quality, and we completely overhauled the animations and added a few new ones.

Hey, thanks for answering and yeah it seems like the site Mega has some kind of problem with my system. I didnt realise it at first since I havent used Mega in the last couple of months, but every time I try to download anything from Mega I get the message "To get access to this link you need a key. You can ask the link owner for that key." I thought that that was suppose to happen but it seems like I get that error message with any Mega link. I will look into that once I have some spare time but anyway sorry for commenting before making an actual fact check and looking if it was my system that has a problem.

No worries at all! I find that an error often occurs if you click on an "embed", like when the link generates a box to click. Usually, with MEGA, if you click on the actual link itself rather than the embed, it will work. I'm not sure how it looks on your side when downloading here, but if you have the choice to click the actual link itself, try that and see if it works :)
